Dr. Douglas Nesbit, a Board Certified pediatrician, grew up in Augusta. He attended Episcopal Day School and Augusta Preparatory Day School. He graduated from Wake Forest University and returned to Augusta to attend the Medical College of Georgia, remaining for his pediatrics residency and eventually becoming Chief Pediatric Resident at the MCG Children’s Medical Center
Dr. Katie McCutcheon is originally from Sylvester, GA. After graduating from Georgia Southern University, she received her Doctor of Medicine degree (M.D.) from the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University. She completed her Pediatric residency there at the Children’s Hospital of Georgia in June 2018, where she was nominated for the William P. Kanto
One of our physicians in our established call group is on call, after hours, daily for minor emergencies only. Refills are not considered an emergency. We also have weekend hours by appointment only for minor emergencies.
