Paperwork the Easy Way
Posted on by nfadminYou don’t want to spend you first appointment trying to remember social security numbers or an in-law’s phone number. That’s why we supply the required documents online. Fill them out at home and bring them in during your first appointment. With the paperwork out of the way, we can focus all our energy on patient care.

Your First Appointment
Posted on by nfadminOn your first visit with us, please make sure you arrive 20 minutes before your scheduled appointment time so that we can verify your insurance and have you complete necessary paperwork. It will save time if you download the new patient forms and complete them in full prior to the appointment. It is important to bring your child’s current insurance card. If you have not arranged for your prior physician to send your child’s medical records, please bring a copy with you.

Welcoming Your Newborn
Posted on by nfadminDr. Nesbit and Dr. McCutcheon loving meeting our newest patients shortly after birth. We provide hospital visits for babies delivered at Doctors Hospital of Augusta and Piedmont Hospital Augusta. If your baby is born at either of these locations, the hospital staff will notify us when your baby is delivered, and we’ll visit during your hospital stay. If your baby is born at Wellstar/AU/MCG/Children’s Hospital of Georgia or another hospital, your newborn will be cared for by the hospital’s pediatric team. You’re still very welcome at our practice! In these cases, we usually meet your baby for the first time at their newborn checkup after discharge.
Frequently Asked: Do I Need to Contact You Before My Baby is Born?
Not necessarily! If you’re delivering at Doctors Hospital or Piedmont, the hospital will contact us directly when your baby is born–no need to call ahead! If you’re delivering somewhere else, we kindly ask that you call our office after your baby is born to schedule the first newborn appointment. We’re excited to take care of your growing family and are here to support you every step of the way!Considering Our Practice?
If you’ve already chosen us as your pediatrician, you do not need to schedule a prenatal visit–we’ll be ready to welcome your baby when they arrive! However, if you’re still deciding and would like to meet us before making your choice, we’re happy to schedule a prenatal visit. This is a great opportunity to tour the office, ask questions, and see if our practice is the right fit for your growing family. To schedule a prenatal visit, just give our office a call–we’d love to meet you! -
